Estonia – Latvia Programme website Estlat.eu has been shortlisted among this year’s finalists for European Commission’s prestigious Regio Stars Awards for Innovative Projects.

Six new projects have been approved in the last call for proposals, to strenghten Estonian-Latvian ties in classical and traditional music, art education, organizing of craft markets, as well as finding joint solutions for such practical issue as drainage system improvement.  

Programme's Monitoring Committee will meet on 13-14 December to make decisions on the recently submitted projects, as well as other running issues.

In the call for proposals, which closed on 14 October, Programme received 42 new applications. Thanks to all who submitted their projects!

The Programme is looking for an Information Manager (temporary replacement from January 2012 to autumn 2013) to work in the JTS in Tartu.

Applicants, who are planning to submit a project for the open call for proposals, are welcome to attend a practical seminar on 13 September.
