This summer four young people, not surprisingly for our Programme, two from Estonia and two from Latvia, will travel around both countries to learn about the impact of Estonia – Latvia Programme 2007 – 2013 projects. They will stop at various places and talk to various people with one simple goal – to see how these people live, how their lives have changed thanks to cooperation with Estonia or Latvia, and what their dreams are for the furure.
Four young people that have been selected for this project are: Ester Kuntu and Janis Rizhovs from Estonia and Katrīna Veismane and Mārtiņš Pūris from Latvia. They will hit the road already next week with a plan to visit as many great projects in both countries as possible and to meet with people who have experienced cooperation between Estonians and Latvians.
Their road trip will be documented and this fall it will be shown on television in Estonia and Latvia, but during the trip young people have agreed to share their first impressions on Estonia – Latvia Programme page on Facebook!
We wish the best of luck and good summer weather to Esther, Katrīna, Janis and Mārtiņš and hope to hear from them very soon!
