On December 1, a contact forum for the potential applicants of the Estonia – Latvia Programme took place in Valmiera, Latvia.
The main idea of the event was to give the potential applicants a chance to meet and develop cooperation with partners of the other country. The contact forum managed to bring together around 200 potential applicants from both countries, half of whom were particularly interested in various types of business cooperation.
During the event, the participants were introduced to the criteria of the new call for proposals, given the chance to ask all kinds of questions, as well as devided in smaller groups according their cooperation interests and Programme’s priorities, where they discussed and shared their project ideas.
The contact forum took place at the Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Valmiera and was moderated by the journalist and producer Ansis Bogustovs. It also included story of the Programme’s running project „GoodFruit”, as well as some other thematically related presentations.
