While a real winter is taking place in the Programme area, everyone can start already planning their summer activities thanks to a new velo-tourism map issued within the project “ViSoEst”.

The new map, drawing a new route “Tour de LatEst”, is promoting the joint area and cycling possibilities in Southern Estonia and Northern Vidzeme. It has been developed through cooperation among various partners - the Vidzeme Tourism Association in Latvia and local municipalities of both countries.

In January, the new cycling route was presented at the international tourism exhibit “Vakantiebeurs”  in the Netherlands, but from in February it attracted the attention of the Balttour tourism exhbit in Riga.

In the coming summer, the route will be officially opened with a 14 days long cycling marathon. So, it is time to start planning your holidays and training activities...
