Joint opening of the newly reconstructed road Karksi-Nuia – Seda River took place on 17 October on the Estonian-Latvian border near Ķoņi.

With greetings from ice-hockey professionals and attractive performances, the newly built ice rink was officially opened in Rõuge by the project "Sportborder" on 13 October.

International project closing event with an insight into the demonstration farms took place on 15-16 September.

On 23 August the project Still Active is organizing a conference “Active, Collaborating Grass-roots - Promoters of Regional Development” in Taagepera, Helme parish, Estonia.

The event will take place on the weekend of August 20-21 in the seaside resort of Kabli (near LV border). It offers an attractive programme to ignite cross-border -operation.

2nd July was a lively day in Naukšēni – joint celebration with the neighbouring Helme municipality brought various interesting attractions into the local daily life.

From June 26 to 29 young Latvian and Estonian sailors are improving their skills in a joint camp in Roomassaare (Estonia).
