Firemen shows, display of modern and soviet time equipment, and practical exercises with extinguisher to cease burning pans and TV sets – don’t miss the opportunity to join the ‘open doors’ of the State Fire and Rescue service in Valmiera on May 17 and in Riga on May 25!!

Altogether three ‘open doors’ events – on May 17 in Valmiera and Liepāja and on May 25 in Riga - are organized by the project “FireSafe” and linked to the Firemen Day in Latvia (May 17). This is a unique chance for everyone to look inside the daily work of the firemen and also learn some interesting facts about the history of the state and voluntary fire services.
