Despite cold weather forecasts, a Hockey camp over the weekend of February 3 – 5 is scheduled in Võru county in Estonia. Students from Ape, Latvia, and Rõuge, Estonia, will participate.
The organizers have also planned trainings in swimming, floor ball, trainings in gym and a movie night that can be done inside, should the weather conditions be too tough to play hockey outdoors.
But what kind of an ice-hockey camp would it be without actual ice-hockey? Weather permitting, there will be trainings on Rõuge ice field, training at the ski center as well as observing of Rõuge ice-fishing competition, conveniently taking place on the same weekend.
The outdoor ice field in Rõuge was constructed as a part of Estonia – Latvia Programme supported project “Sportborder”, implemented jointly by Ape Regional Council, Rouge Municipality and Sports Society Skystar.
