Estonia - Latvia Programme is implemented according to the principles of European Territorial Cooperation and it supports cross-border cooperation between Estonia and Latvia. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Latvia.
The overall objective of the Programme is to promote sustainable development and economic competitiveness of the Programme area through achieving an integrated and cross-border approach to economic, social and environmental development in ways, which involve and benefit local people and communities.
The Programme carries on the co-operation relationship between Estonia and Latvia, which started during implementation of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia INTERREG IIIA Priority North within the Baltic Sea Region INTERREG III B Neighbourhood Programme.
All the essential information about the Estonia - Latvia Programme is summarized in the Programme Manual, which serves as a guiding document for potential applicants, as well as for the project implementers. This document is updated for each call of proposals. There are also unofficial local language translations of the Manual made available under the web sections in Latvian and Estonian.
