The Estonia – Latvia Programme supports projects in the Programme area that involve partners from both countries (at least one from Estonia and one from Latvia) and focus on issues that are reasonable to address jointly on a cross-border level.

The applications are accepted from public or public equivalent* bodies, non-governmental organizations, as well as private companies (under support priorities 1 and 2). The co-financing share from the Programme depends of the status of the partner – private companies can receive 50% of their share in the project budget, whereas public, public equivalent and NGO partners can receive 80-85% (depending on the support priority).
