It is rational for Estonians and Latvians to cooperate and jointly enhance the experience in energy efficient building – that is the idea behind the project “Active through Passive!”, which will be implemented jointly by the Valga Town Government, Strenči Parish Government, University of Tartu, NGOs „Passive House Latvia”, „Zaļās mājas” and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce. Special building technologies are vital to save energy in the houses. With sharing of know-how among the professionals of both countries, joint tools and standard technical solutions for energy building will be developed and promoted.
